Cast for Trauma Team edgy… but not cute

About a week ago Trauma Team was announced for the Wii.

More than likely this new cast will be replacing the old cast of Trauma Center, and while I’m glad that there’s been a new Caduceus (here’s hoping) game announced, there’s something about the character designs that just don’t sit right with me.

Don’t get me wrong, Trauma Center had it’s stereotypes but they were never so blatantly obvious. I can already tell how each character is going to act by looking at them. Markus and Valarie (and to an extent Derek and Angie) never gave such  impressions.

While I love the way the player will have many different specialties available to him or her I’m not sure how I’m going to feel about the general look of the characters.

What’s shakin’ bacon?

Welcome!

This blog will be dedicated to all things I consider cute… and video games.

I will have current going-ons in the world of cuteness, as well as video game “journals” dedicated to my current progress in games. I’m a bit ADD when it comes to games, so the one being played will probably change from day to day.

Cute item of the day:

mrtoast_bacon

Mr. Toast and Shaky Bacon!

I love how horrified both the bacon and toast look- like they know how delicious they are and that someone is going to eat them!

I’m tempted to buy them ($7 each), but I have too many plushies as it is, and with Otakon coming up I know I’ll be getting more anyway.  :/

In other cute-news, Borders has greatly expanded their selection of Tokidoki merchandise. Now they carry journals, plushies, and vinyls galore. I took a picture of everything that I’ll be uploading later. I was really surprise they have so much considering how badly the economy is hurting TKDK sales right now.

Current game: Disgaea 3

No matter how many times I leave Disgaea, I always come back. I think one of the main reasons is the huge amount of things there are to do, and the adorableness of each character I create! <3

Right now I’ve just discovered the class world (About 20-25 hours in), so I’ve been spamming that like crazy to try and get the attributes of my newer characters up before they are eligible for reincarnation. So far my Ranger has been the best off in the class world, getting about 4-5 dropouts each time (Each time you defeat a dropout an attribute will permanently increase). My female gunner has had the worst luck. Not only was I not able to get the correct amount of mana to increase her movement, but there were no dropouts either. She has at least one more chance before reincarnation though, so hopefully I can make it count. ;_;
